-1958, the predecessor of Ningbo Water Meter Works, Ningbo comprehensive water meter Factory was born.
-1960, start producing water meters.
-1963, the first produce water meters with NB Brand.
-1964, obtained investment funds of 360,000 RMB from the State, became the first professional production of the water meter enterprise and changed name to Ningbo Water Meter Works.
-1965, participated in the design of a unified national scientific research project of water meters as a major player and contributed to end the situation of "various different design of water meters in China".
-1980, enterprise keep growing and annex four companies, established the industry leader position.
-1983, quantity of products increased from 60,000 units in 1978 to 1,000,000 units in 1983, occupied about one-third of products quantity from the national water meter industries.
-1985, got the No. 001 production license in water meter industry, be listed in the "Chronicle of Ningbo."
-1987, we successfully won the first international tender with our Multi Jet Dry Type water meter in Philippines, became the first successful enterprise of China water meter industry in the international market.
-1987, we successfully introduced the Woltmann meter (WP) from Menicke Company (Today called Sensus).
-1988, the multi jet wet type water meter won the only "National Silver Medal".
-1988, the company won the national first level measurement, also was the first national measurement enterprise in Ningbo.
-1990, the Woltmann meter won the only "National Golden Medal".
-1992, the first famous brand of Zhejiang Province announced: "Ningbo water meter" became the Province well-known brand.
-1994, took the lead through the ISO9000 quality system certification in domestic water meter industry.
-1997, awarded "well-known product" by the Ministry of State Machinery.
-2000, approved by Ningbo People¡¯s Government. Company reform from the state-owned factory to the private company for the establishment of Ningbo Water Meter Co., Ltd.
-2001 NB trademark as well-known trademark licensed by Zhejiang Administration of Industry and Commerce, and maintain so far.
-2003, first time won the "China Top Brand".
-2004, first time won the "Certificate for Product Exemption from Quality Surveillance Inspection".
-2005, listed as 100 China potential medium-small- sized enterprises announced by the World Business magazine "Forbes".
-2006, the company moved to Ningbo Jiangbei Industrial Area where we have invested and built the new plant which covers an area about 73500 square meters , building area of 45,000 square meters, with an annual production capacity reached to 600 million units. Became the world¡¯s largest production base of water meters.
-2007, got the ISO14000 Environment System Certification approved by the China Quality Certification Center.
-2007, Won the "China Famous Brand"
