How to Bench Test a Stereo Receiver
component is the hub of everything you see and hear while watching your favorite movie or listening to your favorite band's new CD. It controls both audio and video information, and your viewing experience depends on it functioning properly. Some people may be content with just taking it out of the box and hooking it up, but real home theater enthusiasts can go the extra mile and perform a series of tests that will make sure you are getting the most of your hard-earned money.Water meter,Water meters, Woltman Water Meter, Single Jet Water Meter

Buy an audio/video diagnostic disc. You can find these at any electronics retailer, and they usually cost about the price of a regular movie. This disc will contain a variety of audio tests that will help with the placement of speakers, the adjustment of levels and the strength of your subwoofer. All these go into making sure your receiver is working properly.

Use your receiver's "test tone" feature. This is a function that sends a tone with a specific pitch to each speaker one at a time to make sure both that they are working properly and also that they are placed in the appropriate position relative to where you'll be sitting.

Start up your favorite movie or CD and take your receiver for a test drive. There is no way more useful to test your home theater setup than to use it the way it was meant to be. Pick a movie with a lot of explosions or gunfire or a CD with heavy drums and listen for things like base and trebble levels, speaker placement, fade and balance.
